From the Associate Rector – A relaxing of Covid Protocols
Dear friends,
Given the decreasing Covid infection rates, and the lifting of mask mandates around the City, we have discussed and discerned our own policies. As of this Sunday, 13 March, we are no longer requiring masks at church on Sundays. You are, of course, still welcome to wear one if that feels safest, and we ask that everyone be conscious each other’s needs, and allow for extra distancing as feels right.
We are still requiring masks during school hours, so if one visits the Church offices Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, one must wear a mask.
Please note that for now, Bishop Dietsche is still requiring that we only serve Communion in one kind (the bread only). We will let you know as soon as we receive an update on that.
As of last Sunday, we have reinstated coffee hour! If you would like to host a coffee hour, that would be wonderful – please reach out to Christina Itwaru in the Parish Office at itwaru@epiphanynyc.org You can either bring the food yourself, or we can shop for you.
If you have any questions or concersn, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Faithfully,
Elise
