Children and Youth
Children have always been active and involved at Epiphany not only in Sunday School, but in our choirs, youth groups, church services -- serving as acolytes and readers of the Word -- and through our community outreach and social justice work. We have special programs throughout the year, from Vacation Bible School to the Christmas pageant.
In addition to reminding the grownups that we all have a little superhero inside of us, children are encouraged to be true to themselves and their beliefs, to engage with the world around them with the strength and support of our community, and to develop spiritually to their full potential.
Our in-person programs were put on pause as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, with safety protocols in place, children have returned to Sunday School. New acolytes have been trained as we return to normal routines. And in the summer of 2021, we were even able to hold our ever-popular Vacation Bible School!
As with adults, children wear masks and practice social distancing. Vaccination is not required.

Beginning at the age of 8, children of the parish are welcome to serve as Acolytes on Sunday mornings. By serving as acolytes, they learn to be leaders of worship, model good behavior, and assist very practically in serving at the altar.
Email the church office if your child is interested in becoming an acolyte.
Day School
