January 9, 2022:
The 8:30am service is temporarily suspended. The 10:30am service will continue to be celebrated, following the Covid guidelines below.

With the rapidly rising infection rate and the threat that the latest Covid variant poses to both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, The Church of the Epiphany will be reinstating two Covid protocols. Beginning this Sunday and for the foreseeable future the Chalice will not be offered at Holy Communion. The long and well established teaching of the Church Universal has been that the Sacrament is fully present in both the Consecrated Bread and the Consecrated Wine. Therefore, there is no diminishment of the validity or the efficaciousness of the Sacrament when received in only one kind. Secondly, Coffee Hour is suspended for the foreseeable future. Since Coffee Hour was the one time when the gathered community would remove their masks to enjoy a bit of refreshment and conversation, it would be prudent given the current rise in the infection rate that we remain masked at all times when in the building. While refreshments will not be served, it is reasonable that we take a few minutes after the service to catch up with friends. So that we may continue to deepen our connection to one another, we will also reinstate opportunities to gather online for conversation and spiritual nurture. More information will follow after Christmas.
